For those familiar with Space drag, the "Reset offsets" toggle resets your height to 0,0,0 but using PSM and OVRAS together I can use PSM's reset, bypassing OVRAS's reset making my actual height reset point 0,-15,0. I do use advanced settings but in conjunction with PSM to achieve a "reset under the floor" button. Now last time I asked a similar question people told me to use OVR advanced settings Space Drag. Originally posted by finessed: go into motion and enable the space drags for both hands, most of the binds should work by then. I would be in anyone's debt who could tell me what the corresponding button mask numbers were for index controllers within Open VR! addition to avoid confusion, the motion settings is in OVR and not in steamvr itself. Meaning 128 = A on my right hand and 2 = Y and B on each hand with 4 being the middle finger trigger on each hand. PlayspaceMover.exe -l 4 -r 4 -resetButtonMask 2 -physics -rightTogglePhysicsMask 128 -gravity 6 a new Color Scheme to better match OpenVR/SteamVRs theme. I now know that the index can work with PSM as long as the user knows what numbers to use for the button bindings. These Binding Files are saved in the Same directory as your settings/logs. I am switching to Index shortly and was hoping that someone out there knows the controller button mask numbers for index. Ive gotten accustomed to using Play Space Mover (Not OVR Advanced setting space drag) over the past 2 years on my Rift. Now I've posted a similar question but since I have done more research my question has changed. Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. Okay, so i got full body tracking to work, and now i got playspace mover installed, however i need help with placespace mover, i just want 2 things done. Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. I change the bindings in the bindings setting in OVRAS, but it doesnt do anything when playspace is closed, and only the default bindings work when playspace is open. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. So, I want to rebind the default playspace mover binds to my own custom ones. Ever since a few days ago, moving my Playspace causes me to rubber band back to where I was before, and it sometimes just refuses to work. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. Running a quest 2 with OVR Advanced settings and Open VR for tracker calibration. "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) This guide will work for Oculus rift, rift S, Vive, Valve index, and Windows Mixed realityPlayspace mover. Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD.
